A part of this is what I have on my voicemail greeting right now for Mardi Gras. It's a traditional Mardi Gras song that sounds like it should be, "They all asked for you." but it's actually, "They all axe'd for you." In New Orleans, you don't say, "Ask." rather, it's "Axe."


Andy Kirra showed me this awhile back and I still don't know what the fuck it is.
