Virgin Galactic

Let me just check around my bedroom and see if I have $200,000.00 laying around for a space flight on Virgin Galactic. The deposit is only $20,000.00. Well, I am a little short. (If I did have that much laying around, I'd be betting on a new home in Las Vegas with the real estate the way it is.) However, the idea of a space flight is fascinating to me. ...maybe with the money I can scrape up from the couch AND the money I have laying around we can get somewhere.

Virgin Atlantic Red Hot Commerical

I just saw this Virgin Atlantic airline commercial celebrating the 25th anniversary of the airline when I was flying back to Las Vegas from London.
Look at the cell phone he's using in this video, damn.

VS1 from Gatwick to Newark, New Jersey on 22nd June 1984, was a miracle in itself having been planned in just a few weeks. MORE
...the description on the video goes on to say;
Now, Virgin America (I think they meant Virgin Atlantic though.) uses 38 aircraft to fly six million people a year to 30 destinations around the world. The staff of 9,000 have built an airline that, after 25 years, is still red hot; an airline that focuses on being the best, not the biggest, and injects customer service and innovation into its daily philosophy.

Virgin America Opens Stylish New Doors At LAX Terminal 3

As I drove past the new Virgin America terminal at LAX at an unGodly hour this morning dropping Rusty off, I thought of how much like a "W" Hotel the new, larger, looked like.
It was dark and it was deep in the colors of purple and red with mainly candle lights.
...pretty amazing actually if you ask me.
...for a airline terminal.

I am glad to see them growing from one seemingly "borrowed" ticket counter to this new beautiful move forward and showing some "ownership" of the ticket sales and space.

Virgin Touch

I love the whimsical touch of the Virgin companies. Look how may enterprises they have - mobile phones, cars, limos, books, food, drinks, the list goes on and on.
I did a quick search on the corporate strategy and found THIS.

Regardless, here is the point of this blog entry....

Here is a photo as I was coming into JFK this past weekend for the HustlaBall New York. The front of the plane says, "Contents may be under pressure" NO JOKE! I love it. ...that's hot.

...and here is a photo as I was pulling into LAX of the Virgin Atlantic airliner that says, "No way BA/AA." I assume that means 'British Airways' and/or 'American Airlines'. Cute.

Virgin America

Angel Benton, watch out! There is a new Virgin in America. *wink*

The British linked airline now has a domestic airline that is geared to offer inexpensive flights in America.
Look at the deals listed today to the right, that's hot.

I am excited, I want to book a flight just because I can.

Check out this news story ttp://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20178823/ about today's new departure. COOL!
