"Iko, Iko"
It's a short, simple song.
The Dixie Cups is one of my favorite versions and really makes me think of New Orleans at Mardi Gras.
There are many versions of the song including the first one that Angel Benton was listening to in our office today. (...right before "Mmmm...Bop" from Hansen. Whoa.)

I also liked it when I heard "Iko, Iko" in the movie "Skeleton Key" which I really liked.

"It's Gonna Be a Good, Good Night."
I enjoy this song and I think of Ryan Raz everytime I hear it.It's got a catchy beat that I enjoy listening to.
Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_2rrxONlLo
Information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_Gotta_Feeling
Lyrics: http://www.metrolyrics.com/i-gotta-feeling-lyrics-black-eyed-peas.html
The words include, "It's gonna be a good, good night." and I feel like we have to hear this song as we kick of any night we head out. YEA!
Plus, it's so Hollywood, I love that too.

Lady GaGa Paparazzi Video
I love the blue & white GaGa cupcakes and the bills with a nation gone GaGa. Fierce! ...just as outrageous as the DIOR rings on her hand. YES, girl!

"I Love College" Asher Roth
I am really enjoying Asher Roth's new song called, "I Love College."
Sometimes (...like when I listen to this song.) I wish I lived at college and had a full "Dorm Experience" instead of commuting, but all in all, it paid off the way that I did it.
You can see a clearer version of the music video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43pkqeamXe8.

Jurassic Park on the Roof
I liked this video to go along with the song that in the main theme from one of my own favorite movies, Jurassic Park. It makes excited to hear this song. It's so "colossal" in my head that it makes me think like that too when I hear it.
It sure seems that John Williams, the conductor for this song and many others, sure has a talent, huh? Look at his list of movies in the link above. DAMN!
I recently heard a song from Fiddler on the Roof on one my plane rides that I took a strange comfort in hearing like I was hearing a song I thought I "should" know and recognize but not fully understand.
Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds
Natalie Cole's version was cool, but I saw a drag queen in Ohio do it once that tore the house apart. She was FIERCE! FIERCE! FIERCE!

Abercrombie & Fitch Radio
I love listening to the Abercrombie & Fitch playlist. I don't have to worry about going out to a nightclub, I can get it at A&F. Plus, listen to it for a few minutes and tell me it's not gay. Go ahead.

30 Seconds to Mars - The Kill
Jared Leto is SO HOT!

Fierce!
My old web lady, adoringly referred to as my "Web Diva" told me about it.

Boy of the Moment - Colby O'Donis
I know Colby O'Donis from the Lady GaGa video for 'Just Dance' (Everytime I see him, I think, "He's hot.") (I think it's the Puerto Rican in him.) Yesterday, I saw a billboard for him on Sunset Blvd. (left) and I still think he's hot.Friday, January 23, 2009
Cats in the Cradle
It's strange, but I like this song. I think it reminds me of when my mom or dad would vacuum at home and they would turn the radio up loud enough to hear over the vacuum.

Text Poem
Zack Rockwood texted me the other day and made me laugh when he said, "Pockets so fat the mother fuckers got me limpin."All I can really say is, "Whoa."
...or so I thought. "Double whoa." is what I said when I heard,
"Can you make me feel like a star? Can you please me? Can you make me shake and scream? Can you tease me? Can you make me want to dream? Can we do it on magazines? Can we do it on the silver screen? If we did it on the bathroom would your boyfriend call me a "rentboy" whore?"I figured those were the lyrics to a song because its seemed kinda poetic so I used Google and found the song by Starkillers called "Scream."

- Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Jordan
- Doris Day & Bing Crosby
- Rod Stewart and Dolly Parton
- Jessica Simpson & Nick Lachey
- Ray Charles & Betty Carter
- Margaret Whiting & Johnny Mercer
- Remixed
- Selma Blair & Rainn Wilson

The Life
Last Friday, Angel and I went to see Willam's theater production of "The Life."You can buy tickets at
http://www.goldstar.com/events/hollywood-ca/the-life.html [SOURCE]
and see it "Every week Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday from Sat., December 6 until Sun., December 21, 8:00pm" Los Angeles The Life@Stella Adler Theatre - Events - LA Weekly
It was so cool and Willam was fabulous.
Willam's role is HILARIOUS and I can't think of anyone who could do it better.
I was so proud of him and glad to see him.
Especially in a role like that portraying hookers.
You can find out more about the play and the ideas contained therein if it interests you HERE, HERE, and HERE.
There were quite a few amazingly true portions of the production where I had to sit back and say, "Holy shit." and "What am I doing?"
Thanks to Angel for making the arrangements to go, thanks to Willam's generosity and special thanks to the cast and characters of the 1980's tale for an amazing night of entertainment.
I applaud them all and one extra loud clap for Willam. (Speaking of "Clap" here's Perez Hilton's music video called, "The Clap.")
I think that most people think I probably should have identified with the character of Memphis, but that's only from a quick, unknowing, superficial look from the outside.
I think in my own head, I identified with the Sonja character the most. We can go over that over coffee one day if it interests you. *wink*
It's a musical, of course, my A.D.D. ass was nervous about being able to sit still, but that was the least of my worries.
By the end of the stage time, my head was more fucked up then when I went in. ....and it was a beautiful thing I assure you.
The song, "MY BODY" was amazing and something any escort, man or woman, would want to sing out loud even if it was in their heart.- The song "A LOVELY DAY TO BE OUT OF JAIL" might have burst a blood vessel in my own heart.
- The song "EASY MONEY" was quite a reality check too, but not as much as "USE WHAT YOU GOT" serves as quite the stance of reality.
- There is even a song called. "HOOKER'S BALL" How fierce is that being as the HustlaBall events are part of what I do? FIERCE!

Chris Crocker's Las Vegas Birthday Party
How annoying is this? ...REALLY annoying! Wow.
Wait, he's got a new single out? Let's just all go to the store and rush to get it. *wink* I am a little sickened to say, I think it is pretty hot, actually.

Carol of the Bells
I love this Christmas song. It's called the "Carol of the Bells".
I like the Transiberian Orchestra version as well (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cY1otyfwu1o) but in general, the "Carol of the Bells" is my favorite Christmas song.
HERE is a choir version of it which makes it beautiful as well.
Destiny's Child did a version HERE that's pretty fierce!
It's so dramatic and we all know, I love drama. *wink*

"A Christmas Story" & "I Want to Know What Love Is"
Don't try to draw a correlation because there really is none, it's just that at one point, I had the first in my head, and the other later in the day.
(...and on a even more totally unrelated side note, one letter can make such a difference. What if I left out the R in first above? It would have read, "I had the fist in my head." Whoa.)
...although my favorite part is THIS one where they sing "Fa-ra-ra-ra-ra." FIERCE! It's so heart warming.
I know she's not the original, but I like her version the best, here is Wynonna Judd singing, "I Want to Know What Love Is."
I think she's strangely attractive.
