"Iko, Iko" is one of my favorite Mardi Gras songs, it makes me thing of happy party times in New Orleans. YEA! It's a short, simple song. The Dixie Cups is one of my favorite versions and really makes me think of New Orleans at Mardi Gras.
The words include, "It's gonna be a good, good night." and I feel like we have to hear this song as we kick of any night we head out. YEA! Plus, it's so Hollywood, I love that too.
I am really enjoying Asher Roth's new song called, "I Love College." Sometimes (...like when I listen to this song.) I wish I lived at college and had a full "Dorm Experience" instead of commuting, but all in all, it paid off the way that I did it.
I liked this video to go along with the song that in the main theme from one of my own favorite movies, Jurassic Park. It makes excited to hear this song. It's so "colossal" in my head that it makes me think like that too when I hear it. It sure seems that John Williams, the conductor for this song and many others, sure has a talent, huh? I recently heard a song from Fiddler on the Roof on one my plane rides that I took a strange comfort in hearing like I was hearing a song I thought I "should" know and recognize but not fully understand.
Damn, I do like this Elton John version on the Cher show in his version of the Beatles, "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds." (I have to say, the original is the best though.)
Natalie Cole's version was cool, but I saw a drag queen in Ohio do it once that tore the house apart. She was FIERCE! FIERCE! FIERCE!
I love listening to the Abercrombie & Fitch playlist. I don't have to worry about going out to a nightclub, I can get it at A&F. Plus, listen to it for a few minutes and tell me it's not gay. Go ahead.
I know Colby O'Donis from the Lady GaGa video for 'Just Dance' (Everytime I see him, I think, "He's hot.") (I think it's the Puerto Rican in him.) Yesterday, I saw a billboard for him on Sunset Blvd. (left) and I still think he's hot.
It's strange, but I like this song. I think it reminds me of when my mom or dad would vacuum at home and they would turn the radio up loud enough to hear over the vacuum.
This is one of my favorite songs. I often find myself looking for it in my iTouch play list and wanting to send it to someone. It's such a motivating song.
Zack Rockwood texted me the other day and made me laugh when he said, "Pockets so fat the mother fuckers got me limpin." All I can really say is, "Whoa."
...or so I thought. "Double whoa." is what I said when I heard,

I figured those were the lyrics to a song because its seemed kinda poetic so I used Google and found the song by Starkillers called "Scream."
I had a hankering for the jazzy, cool song tones of "Baby, It's Cold Outside" after hearing one of the Ella Fitzgerald versions the other day on the radio.
It was so cool and Willam was fabulous. Willam's role is HILARIOUS and I can't think of anyone who could do it better. I was so proud of him and glad to see him. Especially in a role like that portraying hookers.

There were quite a few amazingly true portions of the production where I had to sit back and say, "Holy shit." and "What am I doing?" Thanks to Angel for making the arrangements to go, thanks to Willam's generosity and special thanks to the cast and characters of the 1980's tale for an amazing night of entertainment. I applaud them all and one extra loud clap for Willam. (Speaking of "Clap" here's Perez Hilton's music video called, "The Clap.")
I think that most people think I probably should have identified with the character of Memphis, but that's only from a quick, unknowing, superficial look from the outside. I think in my own head, I identified with the Sonja character the most. We can go over that over coffee one day if it interests you. *wink*
It's a musical, of course, my A.D.D. ass was nervous about being able to sit still, but that was the least of my worries. By the end of the stage time, my head was more fucked up then when I went in. ....and it was a beautiful thing I assure you.
The song, "MY BODY" was amazing and something any escort, man or woman, would want to sing out loud even if it was in their heart.
Wait, he's got a new single out? Let's just all go to the store and rush to get it. *wink* I am a little sickened to say, I think it is pretty hot, actually.
I have two totally unrelated video clips for today. Don't try to draw a correlation because there really is none, it's just that at one point, I had the first in my head, and the other later in the day. (...and on a even more totally unrelated side note, one letter can make such a difference. What if I left out the R in first above? It would have read, "I had the fist in my head." Whoa.)
...although my favorite part is THIS one where they sing "Fa-ra-ra-ra-ra." FIERCE! It's so heart warming.
