Hotel Babylon

Right on - "A tantalising and seductive insight into the sexy world of the luxury hotel industry." I am so there.

Given my innate fascination with hotels and my completely infamous ability to surround myself with scandal and make it seem normal and alluring, this is right up my alley.

You better bet I am going to run right out and buy or legally download the first season so that I can watch it on the plane ride too.

I found the audiobook on iTunes, but on this one, I think I might enjoy the TV show better.

The Hotel Babylon in London is a fictitious hotel which was the name of a book by Imogen Edwards-Jones and also made into a BBC TV series which ran from January 2006. The filing never actually used any hotels that exist in London but was made in a former distribution warehouse in Buckinghamshire. Production Designer Paul Cross first visited a range of London hotels in the luxury and boutique market and based the Hotel seen in the series on a collection of bits of around 4 different hotels.
