The Final Destination

I am so excited to see "The Final Destination" movie in 3-D. HOT!

I really think that everything happens for a reason, few things in life are chance and that paying attention (..which would seem odd coming from me, I know 'cause I hardly pay atten... what was I saying?) helps you realize that the signs are all around you every day. In hindsight, I see signs all the time.

I have loved the previous movies:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Final_Destination_(series)
It fascinates me.

Weird Science

I almost forgot what a floppy disk looked like until I saw this trailer for the movie "Weird Science" tonight. Damn, Kelly LeBrock is hot.

This ABC Family Movie looks good. I think I'd like to check it out. I am going to call Lisa and see if she can TiVo it.

The Gay Bed & Breakfast of Terror

I have to tell you, this movie looks like it could be so bad it's looped around to being okay.

My friend Wes told me about it the other day and I had to look it up online.

"The Gay Bed & Breakfast of Terror" combines many aspects of life that are interesting to me. B-Horror movies, gay-ness, hotels/bed & breakfasts, and cute boys - nifty.

Find out more about the movie at http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0815165/
http://www.amazon.com/Gay-Breakfast-Terror-Mari-Marks/dp/B001FZSKPQ and in a article on 'The Sword'.

Dead Ringer

Last night I felt kind of pathetic. It wasn't THAT bad, but it was a strange feeling. I kept thinking I needed to be out or doing something else.
I guess I felt a little guilty to knowing how much I have to do.

It was a series of "What the fuck am I doing?" things that I actually must not have found pathetic enough to share them. *wink*

I watched "Dead Ringer" with Bette Davis by myself, ate takeout Chinese Food and drank cheap champagne right out of the bottle.

I am embarrassed to say I think it's the first Bette David movie I have watched.
I think the movie was fucking fierce. It was so ironic and twisted the way that it ended.

If I may say so myself, for 1964, it was fierce. I thought what if they applied the same principles and story line to today with Drew Barrymore, Katherine Zeta-Jones, Chris O'Donnell and Zack Efron?
I would have had the same "No way!", "Oh my gosh!", "She's fucked up." thoughts at end, but it was cool to be in a time that is not now watching this movie.
SPOILERS: (If you haven't seen the movie yet and want to, don't read this part, go right to the next video and un-italicized text.)
  • I also thought at so many instances, "How did she not think of that?" I mean, when she had to get in the safe and she was impersonating her sister, she came up with some clever solutions. I would have done the same thing and ran to the back of a notebook to check for the safe combination. I mean, do you have sensitive things written down in places like that? I'd put one number on each wall so that if I psychically turned myself int he direction that you turn the dial, I'd see the numbers on the wall in art or something dramatic like that.
  • When Edy burned her hand on the fire poker to get out of signing things, it was a brilliant take on that adage about biting the hand that feeds you. I mean, it served it's purpose. Fierce bitch.
  • I am a bit disturbed that only guy who figured it out was the bad guy. Fuck that.
  • Twisted, twisted, twisted - it sucks but it's a gruesome reality that even the best thought out plan with the truly best intentions can come full circle and can totally SUCK at the end. She only was trying to get what she deserved and loved and the mean sister was rotten to the core. (Is anyone really though?)
  • At the very end when she said, "Edy would never hurt a fly." I thought, "Damn, you never really know someone." WHY? WHY! WHY!
I really liked the look at the Doheny Mansion, Greystone, at the end. COOL! It was really cool to watch that after I had just watched the 1964 black and white movie.

Wanna see the trailer? Go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpyNk0Pt1iI.

They call this a music video? I guess technically it is, it's just not the MTV I am used to. *wink*

It was cool though, I liked the score, it was very campy.

I don't think I have ever done something like this and stayed home by myself on a night when I wasn't fucked up, pissed off, having sex, or had a good reason I had already justified to myself in my own head why I could stay home by myself.

Pleasantville

I watched "Pleasantville" last night as well as the remaining "True Blood" episodes I had.

What did I learn?
I like color TV.

Well, that and that unless people know any different, they can be perfectly happy in their life.
When you go and fuck them up is when you show them what's out there in the world.
I mean, the people of Pleasantville were happy in their black and white lives because it's what they knew and what they did. It's just that way. Life is good and content.
When Tobey McGuire's character went into the TV and changed everything, (It was all very "space time continuum" and 'Back to the Future' if you ask me.) it changed reality and people saw new things and saw things in color.

It has Don Knotts in it too. Angel Benton calls me that sometimes.

It was a good movie but I was charged up from "True Blood" so it was not as exciting and sexy.

Now what's hot is Tobey McGuire in these photos with his arms up. Now that's pleasant-ville. *wink*

Dick Tracy

I watched the 1990 film 'Dick Tracy' last night with Madonna. (I mean she was in the film, I didn't watch it with her.) *wink*

Fabrice dropped by and said he remembered the film to be "Dark." which is funny because I just remember the colorful cars and suits and other colors in the film. Strange how we remember different things about the very same thing.
Warren Beatty decided to make the film using a palette limited to just seven colors. They were primarily red, green, blue and yellow to evoke the film's comic book origins; furthermore each of the colors was to be exactly the same shade. Although Disney resisted the concept, Beatty was able to convince them to go along with the style. Principal photography began at Universal Studios in California on February 2, 1989; it lasted 85 days, spanned 53 interior sets and 25 exterior backlot sets, and often encompassed dozens of takes of every scene. [SOURCE]

I liked how Madonna's character was so wrapped up in revenge and love. It happens.
I didn't like the 'Flat Top' character, he irked me, he was so "squirrely". YUCK!

It did have some fun songs with the almost all star cast.

Matt Damon and Brenden Fraser Fight Scene

I love this scene from the movie 'School Ties' Brenden Fraser, Matt Damon, Chris O'Donnell (Robin) and many more hot boys before they were so popular. ...boys fighting ...in a shower. Uh-oh. I wonder what will "pop" up next? *wink*

Boiler Room Office

My brother called me in my office today and told me that the phone system sounded "...real professional and stuff."
When I said of course it does, he said, "Have you seen the movie 'Boiler Room' with Matt Damon?" and I said no.
He went on to say, "I think your office is like the scene with all the phones on the floor."
I had no idea until now when I used YouTube to search for the trailer what he meant.
Yike.

It's hard to explain to him who had not been to New York City (...to my knowledge at least.) that we have an office right off 5th Avenue in New York and in Los Angeles and that yes, I do have a real desk with a real phone system and even real pencils.
It's all good and I actually think it's a bit funny, but a bit not.

Regardless of what he thought, the movie looks pretty good. Check it out HERE and click the photo above for the trailer.
Until I get a chance to watch it, I will wait it out here in my office. *wink*

Jack Frost

I ordered the wrong "Jack Frost" movie from NetFlix.
...that frost-bites.

I was shipped a family version with Michael Keaton where "A father, who can't keep his promises, dies in a car accident. One year later, he returns as a snowman, who has the final chance to put things right with his son before he is gone forever." SOURCE AND MORE INFORMATION HERE.
Ho-hum...

I wanted the "Jack Frost" where a "Serial killer is genetically mutated in car wreck on the way to his execution. After which, he becomes a murdering snowman hell-bent on revenge for the sheriff who caught him." SOURCE and MORE INFORMATION HERE

"...that's what happens when you don't pay attention, Brandon Baker."
I didn't even watch the first one and send it back so that I can get the next movie in my queue. I know, I know, I might have liked it.

Here is an awful clip where he kills the girl. It's so bad it great!

Soul Plane

Captain Mack: This is your soul plane chauffeur Captain Antoine Mack speaking. Welcome aboard NWA flight 069 from the 310 to the 212. It's time to bust this coney y'all. In a hot second, I'll be hittin' them switches and gettin' this bitch pumpin' and jumpin'. So screw your sh*t on tight and enjoy the flight.
I caught part of the movie "Soul Plane" the other day in Detroit at the hotel before Lisa and I went to sleep. It cracks me up. I am hereby adding it to my "NetFlix" Queue.
Here is the trailer...for the movie, not the plane. *wink*

Here are some funny clips.

I blogged safety videos for planes the other day, however, I can't believe I forgot THIS one from "Soul Plane". *wink*

How'd they do that with "Survivor" from Beyonce Knowles? I checked the soundtrack credits and it looks pretty real.

Check out the official movie site at www.soulplane.com and the IMBD record at http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0367085/.
Don't miss Mo'Nique, she's hilarious.

Stepford Wives - Favorite Part "It's an APOCALYPSE!"

This is my favorite part of the movie "The Stepford Wives."
It's when Glenn Close's character is telling "Mike" to "Come quick, it's an APOCALYPSE!" (I even use that line with my friends sometimes.)

In my own fucked up head, she is so fierce at this point. She literally defines fierce and ferocious. I mean, her master plan which has jsut been exposed as the movies "twist" was just foiled and she goes fuckin' ballistic. It's so dramatic and theatrical, it makes me happy every time I see it.
She's such a diva, I love it.

The next three minutes from this scene tickle me as she falls apart (...although not as badly "falling apart" as her mechanical husband.)

Her plan is noble, her intentions are good, her mission chivalrous. I applaud her for wanting what she did - a storybook world. However, I see that it's more perfect not living in a fantasy storybook land.

Another Gay Sequel

I watched "Another Gay Sequel" last night after watching the first movie "Another Gay Movie" the other day.
It was adorable and the boys are kinda cute in the movie. (It's no "Brotherhood" but they have nice bodies.)

I especially liked seeing Brent Corrigan as 'Stan the Merman' (Who looked stunning and very hot! He did a great job in the film.) and Willam Belli as the the 'Transamerican Stewardess Nancy Needatwat' at the beginning. (She's fantastic and funny.)
It also had Perez Hilton, (overacted) Amanda Lapore, Lady Bunny, Michael Lucas, RuPaul, and tons of other people we have worked with in the past at www.rentboy.com.
There were lots of local Ft. Lauderdale celebrities as well which were fun to see.

I loved the "crabs" part of the movie too. HILARIOUS! Check it out HERE and prepare yourself. It's absolutely as adorable as crabs can be. I laughed so hard. (Don't miss this quick clip.) Actually, I had to include it it is just too cute.

The video for 'Perez Hilton' and his song "The Clap" is pretty darm funny too. Don't miss it HERE.

The Brotherhood

If you stumbled into my apartment last night, you would have been able to watch "The Brotherhood" movie with me as I fell asleep on the couch. (Now that I have my bed back, it's only stands to reason that I would sleep on the couch right?)

The movie was a B rated horror movie last night. In fact, it was so B-rated it might have been C.
...but you know what? I don't care. It was fucking HOT! It was like borderline softcore pornography.
I love that genre of movie, the B-rated, horror, homoerotic movies. YEA!
The boys in the movie were HOT! HOT! HOT! I liked the main character of course, Sam Page, and Josh Hammond, but I liked many of the bad guys too. Donnie Eichar who played Mikhail was hot and one of the "henchboys" to the main bad boy.

Here is the trailer for the movie I watched last night.

Here are some screen captures [SOURCE] from the movie too of the hot main character.

I don't remember THIS clip from the movie, but I wish I did. DAMN!

Romeo & Juliet Music

I have been thinking about the 1996 movie "Romeo & Juliet" a lot recently.
First of all because I liked the soundtrack. You can see it HERE.
Secondly, I liked the style which was that the language was the exact same as Shakespeare wrote it in, but modernized and set in modern day. It was beautiful in all the senses of the word.
Thirdly, Leonardo DiCaprio is hot. *wink*

EVERYBODY'S FREE TO FEEL GOOD - This video and song make me feel very good. This is the song that inspired this entry.
KISSING YOU - ...could this be a little more emotional? The video just makes it so much more vibrant and come to life.

White Hair

If fucking Jack Frost can do it, and the fierce Miranda Priestley can do it, even those scary little kids from the 1990 movie Village of the Damned can do it, (...which still freakin' freaks the shit out of me.) I can do it too. (...even if it the movies where they can do anything.)

I want white hair.
I don't want blonde, I don't want platinum, it can be a little silver, but for goodness sake, I want white hair.

Then I can be even more albino to people like, I believe it was the infamous Damon Kruezer who called me, "the near albino Brandon Baker.' ages ago ...which as you can see, I am fine with.

Yes, they can bleach it, but then can't they just dye it white? (...just who is THEY that I am asking about? Let me figure that out, then I can rant some more.)

Recently the lady at Sally beauty asked what color code I was looking for and I was like, "KKK White". It was very irreverent and not a good thing to say.

I've used the white hair spray at times like White Party and it's fun and a temporary fix. I want it more permanent.

I found THIS solution with a trick that says "Now here is the trick to getting it as white as possible, rinse your hair with a 50/50 mix of white vinager and cold water." Uh-oh, I will do it, but I fucking hate the smell of vinegar. YUCK! (...the things we have to do to be beautiful.)

Scientifically I guess I need less B12
. Okay, that's going to be a problem too. (B12)

What the fuck? I. WANT. WHITE. HAIR.

Gosh, those kids scare me.

NetFlix

I just subscribed to NetFlix.
The "Two at a Time" plan is for any two DVD's at one time for $13.99 a month.
I don't know how much I will use it, but I think I can get $13.99 out of it.
I swear, isn't that the ticket of a movie theater anyway?
Although, $13.99 does add up to $167.88 a year over the 12 months. ...that still does not sound bad.

I started out with two movies, one of which is the HOSTEL 2. The first one was sick and twisted, so I can't wait to see this one.

It seems really neat, I just add movies to my "Queue" and they ship when I return one. Cool.

The Bank Job

I watched a movie on the airplane on the way home from New York called "The Bank Job" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0200465/) It was cool and contrary to what I heard, definitely worth my time and the $7.00 to watch it on Virgin America.

I looked up more on the heist at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bank_Job and found this:
The Bank Job is a 2008 British crime film directed by Roger Donaldson and starring Jason Statham, based on the 1971 Baker Street robbery in central London, from which the money and valuables stolen were never recovered. The producers allege that the story was prevented from being told because of a D-Notice (now known as a DA-Notice) government gagging request, allegedly to protect a prominent member of the British Royal Family.[3][4] According to the producers, this movie is intended to reveal the truth for the first time,[5] although it includes significant elements of fiction and the extent to which it represents historical fact is difficult to determine.
After four days of news coverage, British authorities issued a D-Notice, requesting that news coverage be discontinued for reasons of national security, and the story disappeared from newspapers. The purpose for the D-Notice was never disclosed, and its existence was not confirmed until recently.[4]
I can't help but think this stuff really does happen.
...just from my industry, I can see where that could totally happen and thanks to corruption and political allies, it does not seem as prevalent as it is.

It's the stuff that makes the world go round. ...and the people in it go just as much around if you ask me.

This centers around a safe deposit box heist which is quite remarkable when I think about the contents of safe deposit boxes worldwide.
What are the rules around safe deposit boxes, CLICK HERE or CLICK HERE
What does the .gov have to say about them? CLICK HERE
What happens to them when the contents go unclaimed? CLICK HERE How fun would that be?

Saw V (5) II (2)

I have been seeing all the new "Saw" movie posters around town.

Check out the trailer at http://www.firstshowing.net/2008/07/24/lionsgates-first-official-saw-v-teaser-trailer/
..and www.saw5.com for the official website.

Last night, one of the boys said, "I want to see Saw V." and said it like "Saw" and then the letter "V" not the number 5 like I believe it's intended.
However, I know I could be the one that's wrong and it is indeed "Saw V" and not "Saw 5" but I tend to think the V is roman numerals.
Either way, it made me laugh, now I can't wait to see "Saw V" either.
