Okay, that's not something special in itself, but the content of the e-mail is.
Check it out;
I hardly ever check this MySpace account, I need to do it more often. (Heck, I need to do alot of things more often, but I don't.)

Brandon,I know we don't really know each other, in fact we have never really met...or talked.
>ARGH! [He's really CUTE!]
But anyway...we are myspace friends...so that means more than anything ;)
>Doesn't it? *wink* Go ahead for social networking.
Anyway I was just curious, how did you get into planning events for the escort/porn industry?
>I fell into it after doing a few porns myself, then going to a RentBoy.com event in Ft. Lauderdale. I left the party thinking, "Man, Tyler and I could give them more scandal than they can handle and make their parties something to talk about." We knew that was the objective RentBoy.com wanted. We told the guy who was at that (...now my boss, Tom) event that we would be at the next one with some friends and we would have a good time." [I forgot to add this part - The next event we just hit it off and since we had so much free, I mean, available, time on our hands, we were like "groupies" for RentBoy.com. Over a short time, we just kinda took responsibility for making sure everyone else had a good time and knew who we were and that being an escort could be glamorous, fun and we could still be responsible when we had to.
And managing their websites?
>...that took time to show dedication, responsibility, loyalty and frankly, people skills. I just sorta morphed into a leadership role as something like a "momma hooker" and at RentBoy.com events, we would be in charge of getting people, then money, then venue details, then relationship marketing, and so on. It was a natural progression.
Is it a hard business to get into?
> Escorting or porn? No. It is however, an extremely hard business to STAY in.
> Event planning and management - yes. In fact, I don't know of many other high profile positions like mine. I mean, there are marketing and event people at porn companies, but not so much escorting and other sex sites. Know what I mean? So yes, that makes it hard to get into and get known as reputable in that field. My boss Tom has shown me so much about ways to behave, he may not even know it. It's not like other business in most respects, but it's still business.
How do you enjoy it?
> I have met the most fascinating people and not only that, I have been paid for the time I have done it.
I have traveled to the most exotic places and done fabulous, wild, sexy things as a paid position.
...to say how do I enjoy it - I say, "VERY MUCH!"
Is it financially satisfying?
> ...to me, yes. To most people, yes. The more I make, the more I spend. I am able to enjoy things I would not have been able to otherwise.
I prefer not to discuss money for obvious reasons, but quite frankly and in a way that would satisfy what you are trying to get at - "Yes, I am quite comfortable with the financial aspect of my current position."
Is it a business you can stay with for a while?
> You know what? I don't know. I would have to say no. I don't know how I have made it last thing long - I think it's personality. If there was ANYTHING I could tell a porn star - it's that you have a shelf life. Maximize it while you can. It won't last forever. The time you do have - play hard and word hard. Making the benefits of the sex industry keep paying is not easy. There is no 401(k) plan, health insurance is overlooked, but using past experiences and personal connections can make the next step easier and more satisfying.
Is it something that you have to have had a background in to work with?
> My background is is hotel administration. I worked for a few limited service chains in rooms management and operations as well as sales for the most part.
Just curious. I plan events, not like your events (unfortunately), but private parties, weddings, etc. I know this is totally different from your events, however I am just somewhat curious.
> I am flattered that you thought of me.
Thank you for taking your time out to read this, I appreciate it. have a great day!
> ...and I apprecaite you thinking I have some value to what I say. *wink*
It's a fun industry and when it's managed the right way, can offer many fabulous nights and future building days.
