The Suite Life of Zack and Cody

I don't only watch scary movies. I don't watch too much TV. Seriously, other than 'Nip/Tuck' I don't watch more than a few hours a month of TV. It's not 'cause I don't want to rot my brain or antyhing, I am fine with that, it's because I can't sit still that long.

Last night, I watched "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody" on the Disney Channel. I saw a hotel theme in the title of the show and thought I would tune in. It was cute.
I was in the mood for a show with a lesson that only Disney could administer. In this episode there was one subplot where the Asian girl who is spoiled had to get a job and it was hard. Her friend who she made fun of was the one who helped her in the end. The other subplot was where Zack had a lesson at school and he did a report with some help from his black grandma. (?) When the teacher gave him a bad grade, he stood up for what he believed in and backed it up when he brought it up to the teacher. ...that's hot.

I am okay with affirmative action and inclusion but man, Disney takes it to a new level. The have a token Asian, a black man as the hotel manager, and many other well cast roles to fulfill those political ideas. Kudos to them. I looked for a photo of the grandma because I think it was a male character dressing as a woman. Rusty said it's a woman. I need to know. I will keep my eyes out and see if anyone knows. Either way, she was my favorite character on the show.
Rusty said I would be the Asian girl - clueless, spoiled, etc.
