Guess who I ran into the other day? Tyler. ...that's right. The original Andy. Pre-Rusty. Tyler called me and said he was in town and he wanted to see me. Unfortunately, I was under a travel deadline and had to head out. I was able to meet him at my apartment in Hollywood, go get a drink at the 'Spotlight Room' in Hollywood and then say goodbye as he climbed the fence to the parking lot where him and my friend Ben had parked. He's a mess just like he always has been, but he adorable. He's so country. I didn't think he could be any more country than he already was, but as you can see, he did get more country. He's up to a business of transporting horses across the country as far as I could understand from what he said in between drinking 'Jack Daniels' and 'Coke' and 'Budweiser' at my apartment and the bar. Regardless of what he's doing these days, it was nice to see him and I am glad he made a few moments of time for me.

My friend Ben in this other photo cracks me up. He has to be one of the most hilarious and truly funny people I have met in my life. It's natural. He has a humor that you can't create. I met him at Southern Decedance in like 2001 or something when I was bartending at 'Cafe Lafittes in Exile' on Bourbon Street.
(I don't know how I got that job. Trust me, it must have been so that the bar could say they had a porn star working there, 'cause no joke, I fucked up just about every drink that didn't have the name of the drink in the name. Unless it was a drink like 'Jack and Coke' or 'Vodka and Red Bull' you would have no idea what I poured. I usually knew what color it should have been so I went from there. I made a 'Long Island Iced Tea' with every other bottle in the well. I just started with one and picked every alternating bottle in the well. Whoa.) Anyway, I met Ben when his boyfriend jumped over the bar and took my sailor hat. I think I was about to call security when I thought, "Oh no, they are cute, I can let him get out of this another way." *wink* Thank goodness for brazen personalities.
