While I did get to see many of the people who make "CockPit" a go at the White Party, I won't be able to make it to the event tomorrow, but man, this ad sure entice me to be there.

I am still in New York until tomorrow. I fly back to Las Vegas in the morning and will be in my office in Las Vegas all afternoon and evening.
I'll change the clothes in my suitcase and head to Los Angeles Thursday morning.
Thursday we will drive the "Mussycat Express' or whatever Phillip Ashton (...or whatever you want to call him for that matter.) calls the van we are going to take to San Francisco for the Temptation Party (www.temptevents.com)  Friday night and then the GayVN Awards Sunday.
God, grant me the serenity to deal with Phillip Ashton AND Angel Benton in a closed space all the way from Los Angeles to San Francisco. ...that's all I have to say.

Why is it called the "Mussycat Express?" It's a long story, maybe Phillip Ashton can tell us why. I'll only fuck up the story.

If you are in West Hollywood tonight, check out the new "CockPit" event from Anthony Cortez and the Brat Pak.
It's in a new location in West Hollywood and features lots of hot guys. The parties Mr. Cortez has a hand in tend to get pretty scandalous at times, so that's definitely something to look forward to.

I have another group of the webmasters that are in town for the convention that ended today that want to go to 'The Abbey'.

I am thinking have had enough for a couple of days and am seriously close to just watching my next two NetFlix movies that came yesteday. ('The Brotherhood' and 'Another Gay Movie') Yea, let's see how that goes and if I can stay at home indeed. ARGH!

Last night we did a wonderful night at Numbers. It was one of my favorite nights I have had there.
We stopped by 'Tigerheat' and 'The Lounge' and I now I am wondering, "Why do I keep doing this?' and going there?

Recorded Messages as Promotion Medium

In this digital age, it's a fun part of promoting any event as well as challenging part to get the word out about your event. Something that I have just recently seen errrr... heard is recorded messages.
It's tough to spread your cheeks.... I mean, the word, and new ways are cool to see and hear. Sending recordings via text message, e-mail and voice mail is a newer medium and I applaud novel ways of promotion.

(...like I don't have enough voice mails I don't listen to.)

The ones that Anthony Cortez and the Brat Pack send out are very entertaining to say the least.

We had a great time at CockPit. (It reminds me of the event that used to be "Dirty Deeds.") I just can't get enough of this boy named Wayne in the photo on the right. He's HOT! HOT! HOT!
There is also one other boy that Tom and I both like. If Tom get's him before I do, I am gonna be so jealous! *wink*

CoolTom is so cool. He picked up some tally counters for me. I use them at events and sent him out one time in Palm Springs to get some that ended up being like $30.00 or something crazy. He found them on sale for like $2.50 and picked them up for me. He's so thoughtful. I wore the counter on a necklace to FUBAR to be silly. When someone asked me what is that, I could say, "It's a counter." Then when they asked, "What are you counting?" I was ready to click and say, "...how many times people ask what I am counting." Yea, my counter got to 1. Nice.

...that night we went to Mel's off Hollywood for dinner and I had some yummy hash browns with chili and cheese that really hit the spots.

Weekend Schedule - It's Complicated

Tomorrow night, which I think is Saturday, it's Numbers for "Hustle" (I am looking forward to seeing some friends there that I don't get to see often.) and Here! Lounge for Chi-Chi LaRue's (I have heard of her.) birthday party along with a slew of other things going on that just seem like too much actually. I am lost. I read that pop star "Tiffany" will be there as well. (I like her music.) I am sure it's going to be a night of total meyhem and madness. (...just like normal.)
(Saturday is not only Chi-Chi's birthday, it looks like it's Alessandro Del Toro's too and if I was able to have favorites, he'd be one of them.)

As for Sunday, after church (Please - I need to go there.) the days activites are up for a vote still with the boys.
Rusty gets back from San Francisco that night so I have to have the wild parties I have been having at his house cleaned up. Yea, the parties by myself. (...and I am loving being by myself again in an apartment, even though it's his.) Maybe we will go to Palm Springs, maybe Disneyland, maybe we will spend all morning trying to find the Asprin in the medicine cabinet ans hutting out the light from the window, maybe we will scream "Viva Las Vegas!" I don't know.

Next week, Monday will be Numbers for a Proposition 8 Fundraiser. (I think.) ...talk to me about this later. ARGH!
Tuesday I can pretend it's Monday and try to hold my head up at my desk after I go to a lunch meeting with some porn publications about advertising.
Wednesday starts "Webmaster Access West", is the night of the Cybersocket Webmaster Party in West Hollywood. It's also the viewing of "Everything You've Ever Wanted to Know About Porn Stars, but Been Afraid to Ask." and Numbers (Thank goodness you can count on Numbers.) again for the new Jason Sechrest/Josh Griffin/Chi-Chi LaRue creature's night called "Industry." *whew*
Yea, by Wednesday night, I am going to be a freakin' train wreck. ...count on it.

CockPit Event

Friday night is a fairly new night a local promoter, Anthony Cortez is doing here.
It's basically like he took over FUBAR.

I have plans this Friday with my friend, so I don't know if we will be able to stop in, but I like to know that there is a place that some of the boys from www.rentboy.com will be and can be themselves.
