Grab-bag of Photos from the 2007 Grabby Weekend

I am putting up the 900 photos from CoolTom from the Grabby's, Military Ball and "Angel's Red Carpet Experience." (...coming not so soon to a Disney Park near you.)

Blowing the Windy City Way

Chicago, here we come.
Rusty, Angel, Fabrice and I are headed to the Windy City.
Andy joins us later on.

We are leaving at like 6:30am from LAX, so we are going to leave FOR the airport at like 4:00am.
I needed to book flights this way, so that I can be in my office all day today, (Wednesday) but still make it in time to be there in time for the pre-party tomorrow night at the Gentry.

I am still in my office finishing up and loading up all the giveaways and stuff to take with me. Extra luggage sucks. (If you are talking about baggage, Angel has that. *wink*)

Did I put this in the blog already? ARGH! I hate it when I can't remember. (I don't even remember losing the ability to remember.)
This is the kick-off party for the weekend just around the corner in Chicago.

Michael Lucas and the Grabby's

The Grabbys 2007 and Gay Chicago Magazine are proud and happy to announce that Chi Chi Larue and Honey West are returning for the ninth straight year as hosts of the 2007 Grabby Awards. Joining them as co-hosts this year are three of the biggest names in the business Rascal Exclusive Johnny Hazzard, Lifetime Falcon Exclusive Matthew Rush and Hot House Exclusive Kent North. This years show will once again be at The Park West Theatre 322 West Armitage on May 26,2007. This years sponsors include Maleflixxx.tv, GayHotMovies.com, RentBoy.com and ID Lubricants.

Tomorrow is the day the Grabby Porn Awards are announced on www.Grabbys.com.

I have strange feeling, okay, it's not so strange, that Michael Lucas, WON'T be in the favored winners at the Grabby Awards this year.
He may not be living "The Sweet Life" at the Grabby's as opposed to his 14 awards at the GayVN's. (La Dolce Vita) Who knows? ...certainly not I.
My wandering ears hear that he will be up for one award but that he's not happy with not being at the top. I also know of one call to him about the awards that when the caller asked to speak to Michael, the one who answered the phone said, "This is Michael." when he did want to talk about the situation the caller called about, "Michael" said, "Hold on, one moment, let me go get Michael." and went on to explain how Michael was not available. Interesting to say the least.

I look forward to the awards not only for the winners, but the parties including Military Ball this year that we (RentBoy.com) is doing in conjunction with Channel 1 again this year. (Can I just tell you, Rob Reimer, the promotions head at Channel 1 is amazing to work with? He's wonderful! Thank God for him! He makes me look so good with all his hard work.) Plus, Chicago is one of my favorite cities. The Grabby's are always around the same time as IML which is also a big event in that area. I have alot of business to gain all around that weekend.
