Fab-RE-ice

Wednesday's seem to be my unwritten day with Fabrice.

Last week, we stayed at the Westin near LAX.
We also went to the Ritz Carlton for dinner that night and sat on the water's edge at the Marina and dined at hotel restaurant called 'Jer-Ne' and enjoyed amazing food including stuffed artichoke, and some amazing en trees.
We also enjoyed each other. What's that all about?
He took this photo with his iPhone last week as the sun set.

Nope, we are still not re-dating. (...kind of like carbon dating, but not really.)
I know a few of our mutual friends thought our relationship was fucked up before. I can't imagine what they think now. *wink*

Fabrice and The Beatles

I wanted to put this video in for Fabrice.
Even though we broke up and are not "dating" anymore, we still have a fairly close relationship.
We even have hot sex every once in awhile on Wednesday's. I don't know how that happens, or does, but it's fierce.
We went to see the Cirque du Soleil show "Love" at the Mirage many moons ago when we were dating. The show features the Beatles music and some of the songs stuck in our heads like the one above.

I want to personally thank the Beatles, they have been important in my life in many ways. ...and they will never know.
  • My dad listened to them on Saturday afternoons when he'd work on the car, so I always heard them when I'd have to go to that scary place at the front of the house. - Thanks to the Beatles.
  • Fabrice and I built a little on Love. - Thanks to the Beatles.
  • I can't walk across a crosswalk and not think of the Abbey Road album cover. - Thanks to the Beatles.

Fabrice-a Las Vegas

My dear Fabrice and Jonathan Lowe hung out in Las Vegas last week.
I guess there are few things that could come between them now and apparently, it's a Vegas showgirl that did.

The Playboys

...somehow Fabrice and Morgan managed to sneak into the "off-limits" part of the Hugh Hefner Playboy Sky Villa at the new Palms Tower where there was a party in a portion of the amazing room.

You can find out more about the room athttp://www.palms.com/suites_villas_2.php and see for yourself why this would be so memorable.

Fabrice took a photo on the famous round bed.
How does he do it? *wink*

Standard Lunch

Fabrice and I went to lunch today. Lunch with Fabrice is always an adventure. ...and very rarely am I disappointed. Today was no exception.

I had to go to the bank, so I asked if he would meet me for lunch and he obliged.
He picked me up and we went to 'The Standard' in downtown Los Angeles. Now 'The Standard' is anything but. *wink*
We sat on the rooftop next to the rooftop pool. I took these photos of the pool and the other area that looks like grass with a couch, it's so cool. I really liked the atmosphere at lunch. YEA!
I think my favorite thing is the signs that tell you the room number. They are little, "Hello my name is." designs with the room number on them, that's hot.
I will say, the close second is the water bed "pods" on the rooftop where we had lunch in the sun. All I have to say about that is "Wow." Now that's a unique experience. Here are a few photos from inside and outside the comfortable outdoor beds. It was so cool to say, "Oh yes, I had lunch at 'The Standard Hotel' downtown on the rooftop on some comfortable water beds with my boyfriend." FIERCE!
We had these little mini burgers that were yummy and fries that done to a crispy golden perfection. YUM! YUM!

I must also say, this photo of him I took while he was on the bed and I was having my drink is beautiful, he looks adorable. Awwwww...."

I headed back to my office and am finishing up my Thursday acting like a Friday since we leave for San Francisco tomorrow.

Fabrice and Brandon at Love.

They did not scan as well as they came out on paper, but that's probably for a good reason. *wink*

Here a trio of the photos that they took at the Love. show we went to last night.

I think they are great and Fabrice looks ADORABLE!

Mugshot

My little convict. Well, not yet. He still has to go to the court date but it was fun to say. (...for the record, the only thing he's convicted of is being hot!) *wink*
I don't have a mugshot and I don't plan on getting one anytime soon, so don't count on me posting one of these.

Beverly Hills Luncheon

Fabrice took me to a ridiculously overpriced lunch (He paid this time not me, that was way cool for me.) *wink* at "The Polo Club Lounge" at the Beverly Hills Hotel. (If you know me, you know I LOVE hotels so that was a nice treat.)

We were able to enjoy the afternoon with Fabrice's best friend Parks. It's was nice to see him. I don't see enough of him.

Now this lunch that made me feel like I should have been driving my husbands Jaguar to a committee meeting at the hotel in Beverly Hills while I talk to all the other society ladies about superficial politics of my husbands occupation and such. It was quite a "TV" event for me actually.

I decided to put this photo in blue to show the "cool," blue, feeling of the afternoon filled with sandwiches, cool cocktails, breeze, social distress (I mean that in the nicest way.) and yummy food. I don't mean blue as as sad, it as not that at all. It was just a "cool" and mellow time where we sat back and were not rushed or under pressure.

Fabrice ordered this awful dish called 'Foie Gras' I have one thing to say, "Gawsh, if I have anything with word 'Gras' in it, I want it to be Mardi Gras." *wink* I had a bite of it and at first thought, "It's okay, I don't like it, but I can deal with it." Then he told me what it was. Duck liver. BLACH! He didn't know the word for liver so it was crazy to help him figure it out. He kept saying, "...that organ that helps you with water and..." He's adorable! Yea, so I'll pass on the "Fatty Duck Liver" next time. ...and I also wanted to tell Parks thanks for the story of the duckies he saw crossing the street on the way to the luncheon. Nice. I have to turn the rubber duckies in my shower the other way 'cause I feel like they are watching me now.

This next photo is in red to convey the sexy and hot feeling I had when he showed up last night with chocolates and champagne. (Which if I understand correctly, [and we all know, I can get confused here and there.] due to the Protected Designation of Origin and the European Union means that it was from the country of France. Anything produced anywhere else is "sparkling." The word "Champagne" is now reserved for the variation that was produced in that exact area rather then the drink in general.)

Even though it was a sexy and hot night, I was glad to be able to just enjoy his company and not have to have sex. (NOT that it's a bad thing, but I like to have a little balance [...or at least what one can construe as balance] once in a while.)

We watched part of 'Oceans 11'. It was only part because we both feel asleep during it. I can't wait to see the rest.

I love watching movies that I feel "close" to such as ones that were filmed in New Orleans or Las Vegas. I can identify much better. It helps me to want to understand the movie. I can try to understand anything, but it's different when I WANT to understand it. Know what I mean?

Wow, what did I do to deserve this? I am very lucky, all of my past boyfriends have been very good to me and I am fortunate enough to have a relationship with them all still now. I don't have any horror stories to tell you about a boyfriend treating me bad. In fact, I have just the opposite now.

No matter what color Fabrice shows, they all seem to be pretty good for me. *wink*

Fabrice

There is this boy, his name is Fabrice. He's ADORABLE!
His name sounds like he's the cleaning product, but trust me, he's as messy as Rusty.

He's Italian. I mean, like all Italian. He's from Torino, Italy. He has the cutest accent.

I didn't blog it (...and don't think too hard about why I would have done that.) but two weeks ago he took me to this Italian place in Los Angeles called Ago. It's hot. He and I had a nice dinner.

This week, I have been able to spend the night at his house a few night. I like that. I like sleeping with him.
....NOT that the sex isn't that good, 'cause it is. (...and he's uncut.) However, if you know me at this point in my life, you know that sex isn't the most important thing in any relationship.

I made Fabrice a website too. www.FabriceMarino.com.

Last night I went over to his apartment after I was done with some work at home and we laid on the couch and watched one episode of Paris Hilton's Most Shocking Moments and two episodes of Will and Grace on LOGO. It was so nice to lay with him on the couch and not be on time restraints, not have to worry about sex and just hang onto him.
We went to his bed about 1:45am and went to sleep. ...at my own house, I wake up 3-4 times a night. I slept through the night last night.
We woke up about an hour late and we walked down to Santa Monica Blvd. and had breakfast at a French Bakery this morning.

He's got a crazy schedule and when he's busy, he's busy, he's like me. He forsakes all others. Rusty pointed out, that's not right. "When he wants you, he's got time for you, when he's with his other friends, he's got no time for you." I see Rusty's point, but maybe he meant that more at me than about Fabrice. YIKE!

Today is a month that I have known Fabrice. He's past his 30-day return policy. I think I'll hold onto him for something or other. *wink*
