Keys

I have a "thing" for old keys. It's one of the things I collect. See an old post HERE with a photo from my actual collection.

I have some really cool and odd keys.

1. I have one key that looks like a regular skeleton key (...which in general fascinate me.) but if you look at it dead on, the actual part that goes into the door is a number 5. Cool.
2. As a rule, skeleton keys and old hotel keys are my favorite ones. I have some cool old hotel keys too from hotels that are not around. Nowadays, it's all card keys and I have many of those too, but the actually physical keys are generally cooler for me to find.
   
3. I have another key that is actually a fold out knife kind of like THIS one. It folds right into the key and it looks like a key. Neat.
   

I always like finding boxes of keys at antique stores as I travel and they are usually very inexpensive.

It's hard not to have a "thing" for new twist on a skeleton keys like the "Tiffany & Co." Key Collection. I like the key to the right. It's simple, but elegant.
