I am headed to the Grabby Awards in Chicago tomorrow for the weekend.
We will also be at IML on Friday and Saturday, so make sure if you are there, you stop by and say hello!

'Beach' The Official Grabby's After-Party

...this is the ad for the official after-party for the Grabby's in Chicago.

Traditionally, www.rentboy.com has done the Military Ball at Circuit Nightclub in Chicago, but this year we are going to do something different. (...gotta keep it fresh yo'.)
Plus, this is one of the first events that PartyWithBrandon has sponsored and contributed to. I am excited about that.

The guys behind the Grabby's (Mark and Stacy) are some of the best and most wonderful people have been able to deal with through the years of my adult career. It's thanks to Steve at Citiboyz, Big Daddy, Stacy and Mark that I did my first live appearance with David Ocean at Lucky Horseshoe in Chicago ever back in Valentine's Day of something like 2003 or 2004. (I'd have to check on that date.) I remember being so nervous, but it being so much fun. (I still keep up with Mr. Ocean on Twitter too.)

Angel Benton & Bobby Clark Host the Grabby's Recovery Brunch

It's official, Angel Benton and Bobby Clark are hosting the "Recovery Brunch" at the Grabby's.
I am calling them the "Grabby Dynamic Duo." *wink*

We saw Bobby's hosting abilities at the White Party Tea Dance where he did an amazing job.
Paired with Angel's staple ability to keep audiences on their toes, sharp wit and uncanny "in-the-know" powers, this should be quite the entertainment power hour folks.

Traditionally, it's one of my favorite events provided I can scrape myself up off the floor of the place I ended up the night before and sneak in the door of the venue where the brunch is held. It's kinda fun. I am usually hungover, and can't handle the bright lights of the morning, but look forward to the Bloody Mary's and Mimosa's that in at the promised land called the "Recovery Brunch."Last year, I was late, late, late but had some really good reason that I can't remember now why I was late and puffy eyed. (It was really good though, I assure you.)

This year, my fierce best friend and one of my infatuations (I'd never admit that, though.) are hosting the very event I speak of. YEA! Well, I guess there's no getting out of this one huh?
I can't wait to show up the furthest thing from bright eyed and bushy tailed like years past and adjust to the blond meets blond talent that lies ahead that morn. *slaps forehead*
