GayDays Orlando 2009

I know this is late, but HERE are the photos from GayDays in Orlando.

GayDays is one of my favorite times of the year.
...but you know it's bad when you leave DisneyWorld in a wheelchair that you didn't come in on. YIKE!

I hope that I can do DisneyWorld again soon. (...and I should be able to since I had to buy a new one way airline ticket back. I have that segment that I didn't take as a credit so I only have to buy a one way ticket there. ...or something like that. It seems different every time I call the airline.)

Gay Days Orlando 2007 at the Parliament House Resort Photos

While we did do GayDays at the Magic Kingdom Park at Disney in Orlando, we also had quite the party at the hotel we were staying at.

Basically, I lure cute boys back to the room with free drinks and that's where I talk to them about signing up for RentBoy.com. This year, the first night I signed up three new people thanks to the help of Howard and FabScout before the daybreak.
We had a "Take-a-Number" sign at the booth I hijacked space from Howard at and we would hand the boys that we wanted in the room party a number so that the "guard" at the room knew what they were coming for. Free drinks? It was a pretense. Subtle coercion - all the way, baby! *wink*

Highlights were:

*Doorway Dancers - as the boys from FabScout left, a few of them danced in the doorway. We had this huge arrow pointing to the doorway and had the logo underneath it. The boys would dance there for a minute and draw attention and then head to the booth to sign autographs.

*Shequida - I got to see the world famous female impersonator at the event. He's so cool and nice to me. I like him. He had a cute friend with him who I truly thought was adorable. He worked in hotels so I had even more in common with him. He would have nothing to do with me. I tried for a few minutes to be polite and find out more about him, but then he went off with this other boy, so I said "Fuck it." Shequida knew I liked him so he kept pulling stints like, "Brandon I need a new drink and I need to take him with you." which was way cool. Thanks Shequida.

* FabScout Boys
The boys of FabScout.com were in full force.

Work it Out!
I gotta hand it to Howard. I don't want to make it out that this booth was a RentBoy.com booth. It was a porn star booth with the boys of FabScout and a side of RentBoy.com. Howard was kind enough to let me jack some space and promote my wares, but this event was all him. He and Gio worked so hard and put alot of effort into a sexy event, that it's easy to overlook how hot his hard work is. It's constantly paying attention to who's doing what, what there is to gain from it for our businesses and making sure the boys get the work they are all there for. Kudos to a collaboration that looked nothing short of FABULOUS!

One of my FabScout favorites, Zack Rockwood was there. He's wonderful and has a great personality. I don't want him to go off the deep end since the lifestyle is so alluring, and trust me, it's a hard balance to keep it real. (...and I would be a hypocrite if I said I don't swim in the deep end sometimes.) I really adore him.
(If you can't tell, when I say "Adore" it means I care about them. I only say "love" when I REALLY mean it, so adore is the closest you can come to "love" without being in that category.)
Riley Burke
(...not to be confused with Blake Riley.) is HOT! HOT! HOT! He's going to be one of my new favorites. He's a cutie. He can talk a mile a minute, but I love it.

Doggie-Style
I don't know how much that doggie in the bathtub was, but it was adorable. One of the boys brought his dog in and I was supposed to dog-sit, but somehow, I think the doggies owner took him outside to the porn pup tent and the hotel was not too happy. (Okay, you can have hundreds of naked boys, foam parties, hamburgers served out of the trunk of a mini-van but you can't have a dog for health code reasons? I mean, TECHNICALLY, I understand. Sensibly, FUCK THAT SHIT!) I thought it was time for www.rentdog.com, but canned the idea like yesterday's dog food.

Gay Days Orlando 2007 Photos

On Saturday, we went to GayDay at the Magic Kingdom in Orlando.
This is most of the group I went to the happiest place on earth with on "Tom Saywer's Island." at the fort. Chris was cool enough to take this photo with Howard of all the boys.

Now, GayDay is not an official event at Disney, but it sure looked like one.
You are supposed to wear red shirts to signify that you are with that unofficial event. Naturally, when one of the guys in our group asked where another went, I answered, "Just look for the red shirt." and tuned fifty shades of red myself when I realized how silly I sounded. *wink* (I'm used to it.)

Highlights were:

A NEW SIGN OF TROUBLE
* This sign Scott Adler gives new life to, "You can't run away from trouble. ...ain't no place that far." Can I just resound that? I don't know how far he has to run, but I would be called Marathon Man for a new reason. I think this was at Splash! Mountain where the theme is the "Brer Rabbit". I least I think that is what it was all about. Okay, that's a 70's movie. I know anamatronics are expensive and stuff, but man, they keep it pretty dust free for being as old of a ride as the year 1971. That was the most time I have spent with young Scott. It was fun. His wit is as sharp as his cute body, but I won't go there. (I just did.)

FLASH MOUNTAIN
*Speaking of Splash Mountain I would love to show you the photo that they take as you are coming down the drop into the water, but I can't. Why? I didn't want to get wet, so I ducked into my friends lap. (It worked, I was dry as the Mojave as they rung out clothing. *hehe*) In the photo, it appears that I was giving him head on the way down the ride, so they put a big image of a deadbolt lock on the image so no one could see it. ARGH! If you take a look at THIS Los Angeles Times article of why it was "Flash Mountain" I can see why they locked our photo. Leave it to me to have my Splash Mountain photo blocked. Nice, Brandon.

INTERACTIVE MICKY
* My friend Brian had me hold this Micky Mouse doll on my belt the time we wandered around the fairy filled park. It had a cell phone clip so it was comfortable. I know, I know, you want to say, "Okay, Brandon, that's a nice story. So boys looked at your Micky, right? What's so big about that?" (You mean my Micky or the story? I digress.) *realigns self with story* This Micky was an "Interactive Micky." His nose was actually an infared sensor and he vibrated like a cell phone at specific points in the park. Believe it or not, most of the vibrations were when we were near a giftshop. How about that? Go figure. Otherwise, he told crazy jokes all day too like, "Why did Goofy wear two pairs of pants to the golf course?" "He was afraid he would get a hole in one." Yea, that's what I said too. He warned me that the parade would start in a few minutes and of other special things. It's like I had a personal stuffed guide that told jokes as stupid as me the entire time. I think it was actually a punishment now that I think about it. Seriously, though, the concept is pretty cool though.

SIGHTINGS
* I saw lots of friends and made new ones. This photo is of Ben Campbell from www.Boyzparty.com who I saw there. That was cool. I haven't seen him in ages. He looks GREAT!

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
* Brian had these shirts made up that were designed as a duo. He wore one and I wore the other. His said BEAST and mine said BEAUTY. I think we got them confused, but hey. What a HOT idea? They were a hit.

ROLLIN'
*The parade was cool actually too. I didn't think it would be. I fuckin' love the villain float. It had Cruella DeVille (I think, maybe I thought she should be on there, I can't remember and my photos don't help.) Jafar from Alladin, Ursula from Little Mermaid and some other wicked bitches were on the float. I so wanted to jump up there, but refrained from doing so.
I love the dynamics of the park. I mean a few moments after the parade waltzed onto Main Street, there were some quiet large vacuums that cleaned up every little piece of trash. (...besides some of the boys that I was with.) I say it's a Micky Mouse operation, but I mean that. I am fascinated with Disney as a culture. ...or cult. Whatever.

LUCKY BITCH
*As we left the raft from Tom Sawyer's Island and I was thinking Huckeberry Hound (...no wait, that's Hanna-Barbarra) Huckleberry Finn was a classic minipulator, and how I am glad we didn't sink the raft, we came around the corner and these official Disney people stopped us and started counting us and said, "Please wait here, sir." I thought, "Oh great, I am in trouble now. I did something on the island and the security camera disguised as an acorn caught me and now I am going to Disney jail. OH SHIT." Of course, another example of my luck and how it is out of control fabulous. We won some random daily prize called the "Magic Moments." Basically, a special team gives away limited edition prizes that you simply can't buy anywhere and that you have to have a "magic moment" to get. (Okay? My Magic moment on the island was a little earlier. Shhhh!) You can find out more about the BRILLIANT marketing program HERE. I swear.

So you can see how we helped put the gay in GayDays. (You should have heard the crowd roar when Peter Pan said, "Tinkerbell wants to know, do you believe in faeries?" AMAZING!)

Orlando GayDays

You can check out the boys of Rentboy.com in Orlando this weekend. We are joining the boys of FabScout.com at a porn star booth at the Parliament House Resort (www.parliamenthouse.com).

As I am sure you can understand, we were not able to join Disney's GayDays officially because they won't take any sponsorships from adult orientated companies. (...and you don't get much more adult then us. *wink*) Also, keep in mind, the event is not even officially sanctioned by Disney, it's the promoters who I would be dealing with.

The event at the Parliament House Resort is right up my alley. Last year, I did very well and left with quite a few new recruits.

If you are out and about for the GayDays events, make sure to say 'ello.
