So when I was in New York this last trip I got some vodka that I can't seem to find many more places other than the Big Apple.PINK VODKA: p.i.n.k. vodka is the first super-premium vodka infused with caffeine and guarana. p.i.n.k.'s flavorless caffeine and guarana formula provides the intensity without the need for popular energy drinks. p.i.n.k is made with the finest vodka from Holland and infused with caffeine and guarana. caffeine & guarana infused * vodka with caffeine and natural flavor *...that means that a Red Bull and this vodka drink could possible induce a heart attack with all that caffeine. *wink* I'd be hopped up for a week. *wink*
I went into my office this morning to catch up on a few "little things" and ended up leaving about two hours later.I just don't understand why people say "have a nice, good, safe flight". We can't control how our plane ride is going to be. It can only be a normal good get to your destination flight or flying and then free falling in to the earth flight. The more people say it to me, the more I get sick to my tummy.
This was the wall of a place called, "The Coffee Shop" in Union Square.
Scott has this lemonade nutrition drink stuff that pretty awful tasting. I tried it. Lemonade my ass - it tastes about as much like lemonade as my ass does. (...everybody knows my ass tastes like strawberries. *wink*)
I sent flowers to Angel 'cause we were on the fritz."Not ill huh? ...after dealing with me, you are gonna need more 'Get Well' cards. Life isn't always flowers, but I am glad to share dirt with you. Hang in there. -Brandon Baker"I had them delivered on Christmas day so that it would be extra special.
I came out and he had a pan out on the counter.
I of course wanted to find out more and how this friggin' thing really worked, 'cause it was so neat.
I missed a couple of flights today. I know big shocker, huh?
I went through all my mail here, (...it builds up fast.) and look to the right photo to see what "Marlboro" brand cigarettes sent me for my birthday. It's a compact glass ashtray. I have never even smoked a cigarette. ...that made me laugh. If I smoked, I would be happy. I think they must have my address from this time I gave it to this guy at a nightclub with a hot Zippo lighter promotion. Now I get a advertisement from them about each month. I won't lie, I look forward to it. They spend ALOT on them and I love to see what's next. They are usually pretty creative and grab my attention.
Lisa put up the tree in Las Vegas too. I chucked when I saw the ornaments that were a Vodka bottle and a martini shaker. She bought those last year for Sky (...now known as Andy Kirra.) when he was hanging around me. Those are cute ornaments. I think the Skyy bottle was for him. (I resisted the slight whim to smash it to smitherines, stomp on it, spit on it and throw it out the window.) (JUST KIDDING!) I am more in the Christmas spirit now.
Lisa asked me what I wanted for my birthday dinner and I said, "Burger King" and pecked out a few lines in my blog before I thank God for letting me cruise through life.
The technical definition of diva is very different from what I hear it used as today, especially in the gay club culture.diva
A diva is a female opera singer, but now the term also refers to a popular female performer of non-operatic works. The term was originally used to describe a woman of rare, outstanding talent. The term derives from an ancient Italian word meaning "goddess", which, in turn derives from the feminine form of a Latin word divus, meaning "divine one."The term sometimes carries a comical or negative connotation, implying that a pop star who labels herself a "diva" is arrogant, difficult to work with, high-maintenance, or demanding. In slang jargon, a woman may be referred to as a "diva", suggesting that she thinks highly of herself, is demanding, or is especially dramatic. The term can also be used positively, however, to comment a woman's talent, performance style, or stage presence, likening it to that of a famous and successful diva.
TIME magazine observed in its October 21, 2002, issue: "By definition, a diva was originally used for great female opera singers, almost always sopranos." Often today "diva" is used to describe any extremely independent and talented woman; however, the term still applies to the classical arts.
I think the most correct place I have seen the definition played was in "The Fifth Element" movie. The blue character mocked yet still held true to the definition ...what a brilliant creation and point to the society's portrayal.
I wanted to say that character's like Glenn Close in "Stepford Wives", Meryl Streep in "The Devil Wears Prada", but that would be a incorrect based on the dictionary definition. I will just stick with the fact that they were FABULOUS!
The best thing is that MCNAMARA/TROY is moving to Hollywood. I am so excited that they are coming near me. (I know it's not real, but indulge me.) In fact, The LA Times did a story on it. HOT! HOT! and HOTTER! I can't wait. http://www.calendarlive.com/printedition/calendar/cl-et-niptuck13dec13,0,2167605.story
I friggin' LOVED the 'Galla Gallardo' character in the last episode, she was FABULOUS! What a grand role.
Rosie O'Donnel's character this season was a great addition. I hope she comes back. I feel like I would sit next to her character on the next Southwest flight. (Oh wait, that's in a few hours, I just may end up sitting next to someone like her character.) I read that she may even have a spin off with that character.
Here are some of the links I use for the other Nip/Tuck crazies out there who want to find out more information.
I seriously didn't know how I was going to blog this because I don't want to freak people out, but I like the way the way the photo came out that I had to find a way to include it in my blog. (I now have a better understanding of the entertainment value versus the truth to our blogs in the industry so I don't think it's that out of line. Get it? Line? Oh jeeesh...)
I tried to take the photo below at the level of the table and was so glad with the way it came out. I would have put this up if it were dirt, Kool-Aid or any other powder. It just so conveniently looks like cocaine.
Seriously, that is 'Sweet and Low'. I was trying to figure out how I could blog this this week in my office and one of the girls said, "Call it 'Sweet and Blow'" and hence this entry was born. She even commented on my MySpace before I put this up.
A few of us thought it would be cute to have fun with the waitress who loved it. We were actually able to catch my boss Tom as he came back from the bathroom and saw it on the table.
