'Dirt 'Music Night

When I first heard this song named "Dig Deep" by Debby Holiday, I kept singing it to myself all week after the Sunday show was over.
It's a catchy tune, plus I really like the message contained in it. ...and it was PERFECT for the 'Dirt' TV show. ...RIGHT ON!
I love this song that was used in the first season of 'Dirt' (...my favorite current TV show.) so I was so excited to find out about a "Dirt" music night in Los Angeles.
I am so there.
I made reservations to go over to the Los Feliz location on Thursday and hear what's going on. (...and maybe see some of my favorite stars.)

'Dirt'-y Bands

If you now how much I am loving this show 'Dirt' on FX, that has quickly taken up some but not all of the space previously owned by 'Nip/Tuck' in my heart, you can understand why I didn't want to take the age wristband off from the other night at Avalon. It was 'Dirt'-y and I loved it. *wink*

Dirt on 'Dirt' / Boy of the Moment - Charlie Weber

It took me a little bit of research and digging to find out about the episode of 'Dirt' that I watched last night.
...and who this hottie was that played a small role on the show last night.

I thought "Ian" the boyfriend of "Milan Carlton" was hot. ...in both times you see him- dressed and sort of undressed by the pool. He's hot. (...very Kevin Federline meets David Boreanaz.)
I found his IMDB record under his real name Charlie Weber.

The character "Milan" parallels parts of "Paris Hilton" in real life.
I was very surprised how brazen the show is about things like that, I like that. Most of the stars have bits and pieces of real stars thrown in and mixed up.

It still shocks me how Hollywood operates, it's fascinating.
I chose the two photos above because...
a) ...they show hot Charlie Weber
and
b) ...they show how dress influences people's thoughts.
In the show they commented on how the "Milan" character went to jail looking like a slut after being arrested driving on an off ramp and came out of jail looking like Martha Stewart. I mean, even Martha Stewart, why do they dress like that? In this case, in the show, it was because she had a "crisis PR person" (Which is a friggin' real thing, CLICK HERE for more "Crisis PR") who told her how to dress and what to say on camera. I guess it really works. It's amazing.

• MUGSHOT - I can't imagine how serious she is. ARGH! "If you want to get famous, send your headshot to Spielberg. If you want to stay famous, send your mugshot to me."
  
• RUMORS - I love this one. "Some rumors are so far-fetched, I have to think twice before spreading them."
  
• TWINS - No it was not Rusty and I. *wink* "There are some malnourished celebrity twins in the bathroom." "Is it coke or vomit?"
• BONDS -You have to listen carefully, but you get a gist more than halfway thorough the minute or so clip of when a "straight" A-list celebrity unknowingly asks a tabloid reporter to go camping to which Lucy replies, "Someone is going Brokeback." I love it. FIERCE!
  

Dirt S1E2

I watched the second episode of "Dirt" last night. S1E2 sounds like some kind of code, but it's Season 1, Episode 2.

Bastian Knight used to say to Kyle and I, "I love it in that episode when you and Kyle fought and you threw the rice." like our life was a TV show. That's hot. *wink*

I think Josh Stweart (right) is "okay hot" in "Dirt". I mean, he's not super hot like some other stars but he's tepid. I do like that at the end of the second episode, Lucky is maturbating to one of his photos. SCANDALOUS!

Dirt

I watched this show called "Dirt" last night.

My boss Jeff, said I should watch it. He said, "I know you and I know you will like it." He was right. He actually have me all but two episodes while we were on the cruise.

I seriously didn't want to watch it because I thought I would like it and then I would be involved in two shows. I think I can only handle one. (...and that's "Nip/Tuck.") You might not understand, when I am involved in a show, I have a hard time separating it from real life. I have to watch it every time it's on. The original time and the rerun. Then I have to visit the website once a day, then I have to have all the action figures, then I have to have a cell phone ringer and wallpaper dedicated to it. It's gets kinda hectic.

I only watched the first one, and man, it was FABULOUS! I'm involved. (Fuck it!) Basically, it's about Lucy Spiller who is the editor of two magazines, "Now" and "Dirt". Of the two, "Dirt" is a tabloid magazine, the other more mainsteam. Lucy is ruthless. I want to be more like her. She's smart and confident. (...kinda like Michael Lucas appears to be.)

It's scandalous, it's provocative, it's dirty, it's funny, it's sickening and horrifying at the same time as being *gasp* realistic.

I can imagine that's how real life for that genre is.

Just like "Nip/Tuck" (...there are many similarities.) the show is brought to you commercial free with the commercials mixed right in. For example, Pontiac cars are all over and very prominent. I like that it's commercial "free". Proving once more that nothing is "Free" since the commercials are actually part the show. That's fucking BRILLIANT if you ask me.
