I bid on a "Slurpee" Machine on EBay and sure did win.
...for less then Rusty's makes in an hour or that I spend on sponsoring a odd party in West Hollywood, we are going to have fantastic, frozen drinks at Brandon Baker's apartment all the time.
I was like, "No more going out to 7-11 at crazy hours to get the newest and most fun flavor. (I like the monthly crazy flavors and promotions they have these days.)
- I am working out some details on shipping now because that's going to be the hard part. (...and possibly the most expensive part.) I may make a quick trip to Virgina Beach here soon.
- I had thought about getting one before and had CoolTom look into prices online this past weekend. He found some for as much as $800.00. I was like, "...that's nothing" compared to as much as I spend at Tigerheat on any given Thursday on drinking and turning myself into a mess." I mean really.
- Repairs might be a problem, but we can deal with that when we get there. Anyone know a Slurpee connection here? *wink*
- Power, as Fuckin' Travis mentioned, is going to be an issue too, but these don't need to be on all the time. I mean the kind that you plug into the wall, Batman.
- This particular brand was the most popular equipment at 7-11 until they did a recent upgrade.
Here is a good website that has some information about owning your own Slurpee Machine.
