I was going through some childhood papers and found these.Left are four photos from my elementary school years. Man, the one in the middle you could have used my forehead as a landing strip. You can tell it was picture day at school huh?
Did they really list my mother as a "domestic engineer?" I guess they had to be politically correct even back then in Detroit huh?
Finally, here is the front page of sample writing the schools chose to include through my "Cumulative Pupil Record" from 1991 when I was in sixth grade. Jeeesh, I wrote like a girl. Look at me trying to use words like triumph in sixth grade. Whoa.It reminds me of one of the exchange students we had from Finland that year growing up. She was so pretty.
Since it was Detroit, I called this post, "Child Hood."
