Redneck E-Mail

My little brother called me today to tell me that he finally got an e-mail. I was stunned. He JUST now set up his first e-mail account. I think I have just set up my 100th email account.
I mean, he and I have talked about it before, but I just accepted it as a fact that I would not communicate with him via e-mail.
Today he signed up for his first e-mail account with Yahoo! YEA! Yahoo! for Yahoo!
He said he had to for a new job.
All I have to say is, "How the FUCK did he make it this far without an e-mail at all?" When I asked him, he said, "I just live my backwoods life and don't need it, bro."
My brother is 25 years old. He's so different from me. He's a hick, a redneck, call it what you will. He lives in Lafayette, LA where the biggest festival of the year is the 'Shrimp and Petroleum Festival'. He barbeque's whole pigs and drinks beer in his backyard for fun.
I am so excited for him. I mean that. Everybody finds happiness in his own thing and I am tickled to goodness that he finds it in that. I love him.

He works at a tire store (...or something like that.) and manages the service department. I don't know how much service he does 'cause when he calls me from work, he seems to be yelling part numbers at what he calls, "Monkey's" in the garage. I said one time, "What are you doing." and he replied, "...telling the monkey what tire to get down." (I would have told an employee something like, "You know, the big tires, the ones that are black. ...and round.)

My brother puts the John and I put the Dear in "John Deere." *hehe* Get it, that's pretty funny huh?

Speaking of John Deere - he collects John Deere stuff. ...and I mean everything John Deere. He has bedspereads, toilet paper, salt and pepper shakers, hats, etc. Things you probably should NOT be able to have emblazoned with John Deere - he has.
He has a clock that humms with the sound of a different John Deere tractor trailer each hour. (I didn't know they sound different. I stayed with him at Christmas and now I know 12 of the different sounds.)
Okay, funny story - he has this little plastic tractor on the end of the string that turns on the fan in his trailer. I told him, "Oh my gosh, does that make it a tractor pull?" *hehe*
His girlfriend, recently turned wife, collects it too, but her stuff is all pink. I love that John Deere's marketing department took care of that side of the collectors. Now everything he has, she has in pink. Right on.
