Home for a Range

....of dates that is. I am home in LA for a range of dates that span from today until after the 11th.
Well, at least that's the plan today. I may go somewhere special Saturday with Fabrice, but we will see.

I am at the airport collecting luggage and clearing customs. (I learned about a few new ones while I was traveling.) *wink*

It's a great feeling to be back after a wonderful and indulgent business trip.

Cruise Closing Notes and Update

Here's a quick update from Prague.

I am loving the Czech Republic. Tons of beautiful boys. I have to wonder though, if I bought a book, would it be a Czech book? What about a new boyfriend? Would be by my Czech mate? (Don't worry though, I miss Fabrice TONS! It was a joke, folks!) *wink*

The hotel we are at is fabulous. You can see more of it at www.987praguehotel.com. It's trendy and way chic. ...much unline me. *wink*

I walked SO much today. I saw much of the downtown area here and it's BEAUTIFUL. I want to come back just to this area sometime.
It's also the home of Bel Ami's studios and WIlliam Higgins (www.WilliamHiggins.cz) which both happen to be purveyors of pornography that I have long adored and been facinated with. As hard as I thought about it, a tour of the studios just didn't happen.

I broke the computer too. I cracked the screen. I can't believe it hasn't happened sooner than this as rough as I am with my equipment. *wink* I will have it replaced when I return to the states this week. It's awfully hard to decipher what the pixels should be as I move the mouse and remember what was where on the screen and try to get some stuff off the computer until I have more equipment to deal with when I am home in Hollywood. I am on the hotel computer and I don't even know what the stuff on the screen says 'cause most of it is in Czech. ...and I can't "spell Czech." *woka, woka*

I have some 800 photos from the week abroad that you are going to LOVE. I have some scandalous stories about the crew on the boat we were on. (They are all so friggin' hot. Poland, here I cum.) *wink* I know I haven't had the opportunity to update my blog with photos and I think it looks so tacky this week, but I assure you, I will make up for it this coming week.)

I have one more night here in Prague and then I leave with Christian Owen back to the states on the long flight through London. I have to leave the republic at like 3:00am. I better make it home from the bar by then.

It's been a long, busy and eventful week. It's seemed like a month, I tell you. I have some great new friends and I can't wait to share the time with you.

White Socks Suks

How would you feel after getting an upper-cut right in the eye? Ouch! That hurts, doesn't it? Well, having white socks on your feet when you are not in the gym is pretty much like blasting an upper-cut to the eyes of the beautiful women surrounding you. This is a simple fashion tip that shouldn't cost you a penny; unless, of course, all you have are bright whites.

turn off the white

I know they're comfortable and affordable, but lose them! Wear black or gray socks with your jeans, dress pants, cargo pants, whatever; as long as you don't make the ultimate fashion mishap. White socks are the biggest turnoff for any fashion law-abiding, decent looking guy.

survey results

After conducting a survey with over one hundred beautiful women (we will have more on this over the coming weeks) on their most hated fashion no-no's, the big winner was by far "white socks with pants or jeans". The basic response was that not only does it reflect major lack of fashion sense, but complete lack of class. Of course, wearing white socks does not automatically make you a hick , but image is everything nowadays. You have exactly three seconds to impress a woman when she sees you. You don't want her to spend 2.9 of those seconds staring at your socks. So don't forget that white socks are fine for the gym or when relaxing at home drinking a beer. Even when lounging at home, you should still always keep a pair of black socks handy; you never know who could be at the door.

The President Car

The new Audi A8L W12 quattro Security offers mobility at an exclusive level allied to high levels of security. The armour-plated luxury saloon impressively combines sportiness and comfort. The quattro permanent four-wheel drive is unique in the security vehicle segment, and provides enhanced driving dynamics compared with its predecessor.Compared with its predecessor, the Audi A8 Security offers its occupants enhanced security against attack. A key factor in achieving this is the car’s discreet appearance.
Despite its fully armour-plated passenger cell made of steel, glass and aramide, to look at it is barely distinguishable from a standard production A8. Moreover, the use of special steel permits a high degree of precision in manufacture of the armour-plating elements. As a result, there is practically no impairment of the interior comfort zone. The complex production process at the Audi plant in Neckarsulm enables all the individual components to be perfectly attuned to each other. As a result, Audi is able to offer unmatched levels of security.Armour-platingThe armour-plating offers ballistic protection against hard-core bullets up to 7.62 millimetre calibre. Tests with hand grenades and explosives have also proved that the floor plating is able to withstand blasts from below. Other tests have evidenced the high strength of the roof and side panels of the new A8L W12 quattro Security. The bullet-proofing of the new Audi A8 Security has been independently assessed by the German Federal Criminal Police Office (the Bundeskriminalamt). The car is certified to the highest bullet-proofing classes B6+ and B7

Cockpit

The cockpit of the Audi A8 Security is clearly laid-out, enabling the driver to see all the key instrumentation quickly and easily. The Multi Media Interface MMI allows the driver to control the key vehicle functions centrally from a console. An intercom system permits communication between the occupants and people outside the vehicle without having to open the windows. The windows can be almost fully lowered if so required – an unusual benefit on an armour-plated vehicle.Safety equipmentThe Audi A8 Security is fitted with an emergency exit system, preventing the interior from becoming a trap for the occupants in an emergency situation. If the doors can no longer be opened normally, an Audi-patented pyrotechnic system simply blows apart the joins between the doors and the vehicle body. This enables the occupants to exit the vehicle quickly and relatively effortlessly. No other manufacturer of armour-plated vehicles offers a system of this kind.
The new Audi A8 Security features its own fire extinguisher system, with spray jets located in the engine compartment, on the underbody and in the wheel arches. The extinguisher system is activated by temperature sensors or manually by way of a button in the centre console. The passenger compartment features a smoke extractor to provide additional ventilation. The tyres are fitted with electronic pressure monitors and the PAX run-flat system. This allows the car to be driven on for up to 100 kilometres at a top speed of 80 km/h, even if a tyre has suffered a complete loss of pressure.LED flashers in the exterior mirrors and a quick and easy-to-fit beacon light draw attention to the Audi A8L W12 quattro Security as and when needed

Safe and Well, Yea, That'll Work

*whew* I made it to Budapest. Safe and - well sound would be your own call. *wink* I am certainly safe.

My flight was fantastic. Other than missing it, which will come to a surprise to many of you. *wink* there was few things left to be desired.
I did sit next to a "Jesus Freak" for the first time ever. Considering how much I travel, I can't believe it hasn't happened before. I so wanted to tell him, "Oh yea, Jesus lives next door to me. We hang out on Tuesdays and BBQ." or something similar, but when he asked me what I did for work, I said, "I help plan events.' rather than my traditional answer of, "I am a porn star." or the like. I humored him a a moment and then told him I was sleepy and it was nice to meet him. (...which was not a lie. I was sleepy and I was glad I met him. I was MORE glad he was not on the cruise with me. Although that could have been fun.) He kept telling me about women and I wanted to say, "I am a flaming homosexual." but I think that was the REASON he was telling me about women. Whatever, I hope he's happy in life too. I want to be able to respect people even if I don't agree with them. I just put on my hot Bose headphones and used the noise reduction.

I am so not joking or embelishing when I say my ten and a half hour flight to Frankfort seemed like it was only 20 minutes. I took a well known sleep aid and boy it worked like a charm. I woke up, switched planes to fly right into Budapest and did the same thing. The entire time on the plane was comfortable, quick and painless. FABULOUS!

I landed, took a taxi right to the high end Holiday Inn flagship hotel the Intercontinental.
I am staying in the room with world famous drag enterainter Tommi Rose (www.DragShowBiz.com) and notapparently the entertaining is not only for the stage, is carries through. He is a riot.
I met with the tour company header-upper and we talked about a few odds and ends (...and some cute Budapest boys ends too as the walked by.) to finish up last minute planning.

As we decided what to do for dinner, I met one of the guys who will be on the boat. He's hilarious. He says, "Dahhling..." every third word and I love it. He's a hoot. He reminds me of Mr. Howell and Mrs. Howell rolled into one from "Gilligan's Island." (http://tvland.classictvhits.com/GilligansIsland/Pics/Gilligan06.JPG)

We headed out as a group to the traditional Hungarian restauraunt where the only "Hungry" you can leave with is into the name of the country. My friggin' schnitzel was bigger than the plate. [insert your own funny joke here] Folks, my schnitzel was HUGE. I had this delicious bean soup too that was so yummy. The pounded out pork piece was just amazing. It was served on a 15 inch wooden pizza plate and was large enough to extend over the edge. I had a "Guiness" as well that was too strong. I think I prefer Pilsner and the pale ale taste. I am no frat boy in the department. Gimmie an umbrella in my drink any day to a overfull beer mug. The enterance was in this dimly lit alley, it made me laugh to head down a dark alley in Hungary at night.

We passed a bar called "A'r'Kadia." (I think just put apostrophe's wherever the drunk person who named the place wanted.) Joan would have been proud of the boys sitting in the bar waiting for ummm... business. "A'r'Kadia" was apparently what some would call a "hooker bar." If you need anything else tonight, you can call the bar and ask the bartender to hand me the phone. (...JUST KIDDING! Don't call me there.) I wouldn't answer anyway. I am SO bad about answering calls.

Most of the arrivals get in today, so we head down the lobby at the arrival time to say hello and welcome them. After that, it seems we send them off to bed.

I have met three other pairs of the "cruisers" who are repeat offenders and have cruised with OutBound Tours before. I like meeting happy couples. I am getting to the happy couple point with Fabrice. (I just don't want it to be 'cause I am never home. I think I miss the crazy Italian a little.)

Today, David and I went to a coffee place called "Gerbeaud" that is on the list of 1001 places to go before you die. (I need to get it so I can see how many I can check off.)

I will try to get some photos online too, I haven't taken too many yet. It's six hours difference from the East Coast and nine hours from the West Coast here, so I don't know if I should be sleeping or waking or what, but I know it's set to be a hot party down the Danube River. *wink*

Boy of the Moment - Hot Uncut Boy

Here's a hot photo of an uncut boy I found on www.rentboy.com.

Boy of the Moment - Hot Chest

Is that the host hotel at White Party in Palm Springs behind this hot chest? I think so.

Brothel Phone Records Online

Okay, these two websites are about to make me sick. I can't believe that someone as "professional" as this did such a thing. What am I talking about?
Yesterday, this "madame" posted years of phone records online so that the public can take a look and help "name names."

I recall the story of Heidi Fliess being told that even if she did it and got a lesser sentence, she would end up in more trouble than she can get out of when the "names" took care of things.

I totally respect keeping some information confidential. There are times to speak and there are times not to. I firmly believe, keeping quiet is appropriate at times. "Keeping quiet - it's not just for the library anymore."

The only interesting part I saw was reported on the information found in this report of the madam's "newsletters" she distributed to the girls she employed. You can see what I mean and how she did relay some very good information to her employees at this link. http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/1201061palfrey1.html.

The congressman, David Vitter, which is a name from my home in New Orleans, is in some trouble. His reportrd situation is a familiar one to me, it's not about sex, it's about time. Really.

I am frustrated with this case.

International Cell Phone

If you are trying to reach me while I am in Europe the rest of the month, here's my international cell phone number.

Brandon Baker (International)
44 787 285-6925

Dialing from the US gets confusing. (...at least for me.)
As far as I know, you can dial 011 from the US. So if you are calling from the United States, you use 011 where the plus is. 011 to indicate it's an international call, 44 is the country code, 787 would be the area code and the rest of the number is the cell phone number. Ahhhh, I get it.

When I was in Berlin, I had to dial a "+" and THEN the 44 and continue to dial some numbers. If you are dialing from your cell phone, the plus sign usually happens when you hold down the "0" for a few seconds. Trust me, I looked for hours for the "+" on my phone. Finally when I was ready to smash the phone on the floor and stomp on it, someone helped me understand how to get the plus sign.

I just press some numbers and hope it works. If not, I look for someone who spoke the language of whatever country I was in and asked them what the fuck to dial.

My international number is based in the UK, but works all over. It's kinda like my US number is based in New Orleans but works all over the nation.

The calls are expensive when I am overseas, but who knows what might happen and when someone might need it. I understand the idea behind, "need to know". (...especially considering the kind of business I am in.) However, I generally think that the more informed we are as people, the better decisions we can make. Consider yourself informed. *wink*

"I'm Back." in Front

I am back.
...in front of the computer for a minutes.

It's been a
hectic,
crazy,
busy,
rewarding,
long weekend of
fun,
sun,
boys,
work
and play.

I am back in my office in Hollywood today until tomorrow when I leave for Budapest for the rest of the month.
I will blog from my trip and I am excited, but I have SO much to do before I leave the states.

Have a good Monday!

Jesus with boy

This is a color xerox of a page from a Catholic picture book. My friend from Italy sent it to me. Here's the cogent part of his accompanying e mail:
[...] I'm also enclosing a copy (again totally unaltered) of a page from a Young Catholic Prayerbook called ``FRIENDS WITH GOD''. This illustration accompanies an informative text explaining the `act of contrition' ("O my God I am heartily sorry for having offended thee, and I detest all my sins...").

Swiss Guard

Swiss Guards are Swiss mercenary soldiers who have served as bodyguards, ceremonial guards, and palace guards at foreign European courts from the late 15th century until the present day (in the form of the Papal Swiss Guard). They have generally had a high reputation for discipline and loyalty to their employers. Some of these units have also served as fighting troops in the field. There were also regular Swiss mercenary regiments serving as line troops in various armies, notably those of France, Spain and Naples until the 19th century who were not household or guard units.

Various "Swiss Guards" have existed. The earliest such detachment was the Guard of the Hundred Swiss at the French court (1497 – 1830). This small force was complemented in 1567 by a Swiss Guard regiment. The Papal Swiss Guard in the Vatican was founded in 1506 and is the only Swiss Guard that still exists. In the 18th century several other Swiss Guards existed for periods in various European courts.

Most of them are really hot.

Word of the day: Cell phone

A mobile telephone or cellular telephone (commonly, "mobile phone" or "cell phone") is a long-range, portable electronic device used for mobile communication. In addition to the standard voice function of a telephone, current mobile phones can support many additional services such as SMS for text messaging, email, packet switching for access to the Internet, and MMS for sending and receiving photos and video. Most current mobile phones connect to a cellular network of base stations (cell sites), which is in turn interconnected to the public switched telephone network (PSTN) (the exception are satellite phones).

Something that Brandon Baker never answer.

NEWS: BRandom Headlines

I don't want to know all this. I like Chinese food. Well, THIS article tells about some practices that are not exactly kosher. I know it's about food in China more than Chinese food, but I can bet that some of that applies here as well. YUCK>

If I was a drug dealer, THIS article would have been very informative. Man, do they really want to tell everyone this much information? If I needed to know what ways to get around the rules in the Dominican Republic, I would now.

HERE is an example of why you might want to investigate the title of your next film. *wink* YIKE! One word off and you get a whole (hole) new meaning. (Me - I love world play, so I thought it was GREAT!)

Theft in Baghdad - a BIG one. It's reported to be the biggest since Saddam Hussein's. Read what happened HERE. ...you can count on it that I won't be putting any money there.

David Beckham is pretty hot if you ask me. The relationship he and the former and soon to be again, Spice Girl, are headed for America. ...that's hot. Read all about it HERE. It's not all that, but it's certainly gonna be a hotter day here in Hollywood.

Boy of the Moment - BRandom Boys

XBiz Kick-Off Party in Las Vegas

Last night, I left the office early and Rusty, Brock and I headed to Las Vegas for the night to go to the XBiz Kick-Off Party that Cybersocket Magazine hosted in Las Vegas.

We came back to Hollywood this morning. I know the cities are not interchangeable, but we seem to think so.
Angel was already there, so he joined us.

You can see in these photos here that we had a GREAT time. Brock especially.
...for the entire gallery, go to http://www.partywithbrandon.com/photos/xbiz10jul07/index.html and for the gallery that you can right click the photos, remember you only have to add a _html at the end of the gallery listing and you can go to that version of the photo gallery. That means you would type or copy and past adding the red part here, http://www.partywithbrandon.com/photos/xbiz10jul07/index_html.html

I have to give photo credit to David Arias of www.GayPress.org who took some of the photos. He took the ones of Brock being scandalous in the VIP booth.
Rusty took some of the photos too.
You never know, I hand off my camera to one of the boys and I don't know what will come back, but I usually like it. *wink*

I don't know what was going on in that last photo. I think Angel's bright idea was "See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil." which would have caused an immediate bolt of lightning to strike the boys if it had worked right. Instead it looks like Brock is about to throw up.

The photo of Brock next to the dressed up man and Rusty in the front is the bathroom attendant at the bar in Las Vegas. Only these boys could get a photo with the bathroom guy. Wow. ...that's all I have to say.

I love looking at the expressions in the photos I get back.

JustUsBoys July/August Issue

Angel and I wrote the next installment of our contridictory column in JustUsBoys Magazine.

I like the photo they magazine used. It's Angel on a call getting some hot new news and me still trying to figure out how to use my phone and what's going on.

This article is all about fitness.
Yea, you can see how well I did with that. Angel fared that much better. *wink*

Read the article HERE.
