Sweet Times at the Peppermill in Las Vegas

After I left the Stratosphere last week; Angel Benton, Lisa, and her friend Luis picked me up and we went to the 'Peppermill' or as Angel calls it at times, 'Disco Denny's.'

I don't know how else to describe it other than, "Purple." The looks is very purple. ...like Barney the Dinosaur purple. ...all over.
It's like being in a tacky limo actually.
There is leather on the wall and fake cherry blossom trees all around and above you.
It's a concept that throws me for a loop every time we go there.

They have fun sugar at the table.
It's rainbow colors and big and exciting.
I think I might have poured a little too much in my iced tea this last time, but that's okay.

Where else can you get such a colorful (...and legal.) time with dinner? *wink*

I have to tell you, I am excited to find out more about Angel Benton's new website called, www.thepornorazzi.com which along with the colors on the site, have left me in the dark. Uh-oh. I heard it was the "TMZ" of gay porn. HOT!

I hardly got to see Angel Benton while he was here in New York. I mean due to some hotel fuck ups on my own part, we had to stay at different hotels. He was at the hotel in SoHo with Rusty and I was not. I was with a different kind of "so ho"." (..or should I say faux ho'? ...what about "No ho'?")
Folks I seriously saw Angel for about 10 minutes on the red carpet setting up and then when his part was done, he was gone and I didn't get to see him at all. It was kind of crazy.

...maybe I will see him next month.

Angel & Brandon at the Peppermill in Las Vegas

When Angel and I went to Las Vegas last week, we went to dinner at the "Peppermill" in Las Vegas with Lisa after our business mixer at the QVegas 30th anniversary party. (Here's one more photo of Angel and I before the meeting that Lisa took.)

We had a gaudy good time with the purple and pink neon that is the Peppermill. It makes me think I am in a limo ride from the 80's, but who cares - it was fun.

Here are some photos from Lisa including when this homeless man approached Angel and I in front of the sign asking us for bus money. He used the diabetic card and told us his blood sugar was really high and his insulin bottle broke. Now my mom has been diabetic since she was two and I felt bad, but didn't have any cash with me.

We took a couple of photos that we can use in our JustUsBoys column this time of us on the phone with Lisa's gigante 14.2 megapixel camera.

Meeting Angel

This is from one of the first times I went out with Angel Benton in May of 2005 to Club Pop Planet in Anahiem.

I am trying to find a photo of the time when I met Angel at Splash! during the White Party of that year. I think this is the earliest recorded photo of Angel and I.

Dallas Report

I just got in from Dallas.
...full report at eleven. Eleven AM that is.
I am beat (...and not like Andy Kirra, I might add.) and ready to go to bed.
I am back in New York for the rest of the week.
Texas sized fun can describe our Sunday in Dallas.
It was a great trip.
...of course, it seemed all too quick.

There was a little bit of drama in getting back, but it all worked out and once again, I swear, I have to be the luckiest person on earth. I am very thankful when I can take a step back after something is done and think, "Oh, that's why that happened." Now as I sit back at my glass desk in New York, I can see (...right through things nonetheless. It is a glass desk. *wink*) that it's all good and all set.

I turned on some jazz music and am checking e-mails and doing the ad approvals on the site real quick.

Dare I say, I think I had to good time with Angel Benton. I mean that.

Angel Benton has many claims to fame.

One of them is his Hollywood movie called "Britney Baby, One More Time."

In a nutshell, he dressed a Britney for a contest, won the contest, Britney's publicist thought he was Britney in an interview, they threw him out, Angel went to the tabloids, Britney invited him to another concert personally and then Angel Benton made a movie about the whole experience.
