High Notes

This is the first weekend in a long time that I have stayed at my Los Angeles apartment and not gone somewhere, not had an event to work at or not had my weekend to work, so truly enjoyed staying at home all day and catching up on www.PartyWithBrandon.com work like cleaning up my computer, blogging a whole lot, and cleaning up the 'Porno Palace'. If you log onto my regular site, PWB, you will see that I finally made some fine tuning that has been long overdue like the schedule. I also FINALLY was able to get the site which features all of our blogs in one today as well. I was able to tackle things that I have had to put off for weeks now.
I was Rustiless last night too. He stayed at a friends house last night, I was able to get alot done.
It was nice to be able to sleep in and only have to log on and do the approvals from my apartment that I pay so freakin' much for anyway and not have to log on at a hotel in the hallway.
I wont' be able to say that next weekend as I head off to San Francisco - by myself for this event at that.
At the end of the week last week, Tom and I nailed down, that is CONFIRMED, 51 events from last Wednesday until the end of October. Ummmm... yea, that's a lot of late nights.

I guess my reputation precedes me though. While I was at the bar tonight, two different people said, "Were you high? You blogged alot today." (...trust me, if I had the opportunity and I was not at events where I can't get away or making sure all the performers arrive, get taken care of, etc most weekends, it would always be like this.) ...for the record, I would like to tell everyone that I did some E, a few bumps of K, tons of G, some B, not enough D, a little L, a smidgen of Q and a whole lot of H. I AM JUST KIDDING! (Half of those are not even real drugs.) (I did get that from what was on 'Wheel of Fortune' though. She seemed to win with it.)

While I am playing on the coattails of rumors and hearsay, Tom, (...my boss Tom) called me at about 10:00pm Los Angeles time. (That means it was like 1:00am his time.) He never would call me that late, so I was worried as I answered the phone. He said he just wanted to let me know he was at the last night of "The Roxy" being open and that the legendary Madonna showed up. I don't know if that was really the case, but I think that's what he said. I did get an email from the promoter saying that it was going to close and the story is online in a few sources that are fairly reliable. The Roxy is an old but still in use skating rink that doubles as a dance club on the weekends. It was in some serious disrepair when we did the Escort Awards there this year, so I understand timing. It's probably a good thing.
